well hello, good old eljay.
it's been a while.
I can't believe how much time has passed since I last was on here. Its pretty crazy.
My life: NYC
I live in Astoria with Joey and Lonna, both of whom are not here at the moment (Joey doing out-of-town run of the Broadway West Side Story revivial in DC and Lonna doing High School Musical 2 at North Shore). Currently the oh-so-handsome Matt is taking a break form being Link on the Hairspray tour and subleasing Joey's room (yay), so theres never a dull moment.
I work at Convivio in Tudor City (between 1st and 2nd and 41st and 43rd). I host/take reservations in the office. Sometimes coat check, which is very lucrative, which we like. It's a really great three-star italian restaurant. Kind of a modern twist on southern italian cuisine. SJP came in the other night. I wasn't there. Of course.
Making the move to NYC has been a breeze thanks to my amazing group of friends. If it wasn't for them who knows where I'd be. It's so great to be up here and really feel like I have a second family. Like I'm a long lost Haro brother. Or something of the sort.
My last couple posts were so dumb. "OH I LIKE THIS BOY AND THIS BOY TEEHEE". I decided that I'm having a grand ole time, and I'm not going to play this whole search-for-my-other-half game. The only thing that can keep you from being happy is yourself, your thoughts. "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so". I think thats Shakespeare.
So I'm happy as a clam.
Are clams really that happy though? They live in mud...

here is a little update.
Disney is over, it was amazing. I've been home for over a month working at the chinese place and flying and driving to various cities across the country for auditions. so far nothing.
but I did kick ass at my audition for a full-time position at Disney starting in June so we shall see how that goes, and my Tokyo audition is coming in March so maybe one of those will work out.
on Valentine's Day I went on a really great date with a really cute boy except I got way too drunk to comprehend anything that was happening, so I don't think it turned out that great. Note to self, don't be an alcoholic on the first date, wait for the second one. I slammed my finger in my car door and ended up getting a hotel room with my friend Pio because I couldn't even get a hold of the person I was supposed to stay with, let alone drive there. My call log informs me not only did I call cute-date-boy 50,000 times, but everyone else in my phonebook too. I'm almost sure he'll never speak to me again, not a good first impression. too bad, he's adorable and a half :(
It's 5:30 AM. Danielle and I both woke up at the same time and couldn't go back to sleep. We both passed out before midnight we were so tired, whats going on? I think the stress of no longer having my disposable Disney income is eating me away.

come Sunday I will live in Orlando for a few months while I dance for Disney. I wish I could expalin how excited I really am! I'm going to meet so many new people and I really hope they all have an addiction to prime-time television like I do. And maybe one of them will have TiVo.
I'm going to be hitting the gym for the week before the show starts and I hope I can lose the 25 pounds I've gained since April before the first costume fittings. I'm totally Celebrety Juice Dieting, thats for sure.
I'm just really happy and really excited to start this new chapter of my life. And, perpetuating my happy disposition, theres this boy up in Tallahassee that I just can't get outta my head. God, I don't even really know him that well but I want to so badly. I know that my head fits perfectly in this little spot on his chest like a puzzle piece, and I know that he smells amazing, and I know that its so stupid but I just had this feeling in the pit of my stomach when I was with him that felt so right, you know? I'll be back up to Tallahassee quite frequently, thats for sure.

dearest readers,
the summer has pretty much come to a close, and i have not returned to school. I am a DROPOUT.
I am also a DISNEY DANCER, and I'd advise all of you to come see me in the Magic Kingdom on the Cinderella Castle stage performing the Celebrate the Season show. YEAH!
I've been working at the chinese place EVERY DAY getting severely underpaid but its all good because how else would I have time to read every single book Chuck Palahniuk has ever written? I'm currently working on HAUNTED and it's great.
Today I'm going to see a bunch of local bands at a free concert to support DARFUR. Oh, life in Jupiter when all the learners have gone to learn has proven to be a little stale, but with God and black magic on my side I can do anything. I hope you all have seen the MAD TV where Dot goes in the dryer to know that the only way I would talk about God is if I were quoting something.

Christmas is over. I had a very un-christmassy christmas at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in Disney World. It was really fun though, ate lots of authentic African food and drank African beers. It was like. Kwanza.
I didn't open one present. I went shopping with my mommy and she just got me a bunch of stuff. And then... yeah. It was fun.
Going to Club Paris for New Years! Very excited! Hopefully Paris Hilton and I will hit it off and then everyone can see a picture of my vagina as I get out of a limo with no underwear on. I'm crossing my fingers.
I still have two more weeks before I go back to Tallahassee. I won't be dancing for two more weeks. I seriously am going to be slaughtered upon my return. I don't even think I can point my feet anymore. Let me check.... nope!

I'm home. It's great. I've gained 4 pounds so far. Bring it on.
I went to Blue Martini and actually got to hang out with Chad (Valentine- DJ boy) without his boyfriend. Met some more of the radio station people and they were cool. It was a fun night!
I got the Gwen CD and am in love with Yummy featuring Pharrell. It's hot.
At Val's making mexiacan dinner and having drinkies and smokies. gotta love winter break. ITS HOT AS HELL! I could have gone to the beach. I did once.

OK SO
I have been dancing for over 6 hours a day all week and my callouses on my feet split open so they're all taped up and i look like a mummy.
The Paul Taylor residency started, we already learned most of Esplenade. It's really cool, I was cast in it which is awesome. I also was given the solo in the fifth section and the male role in the second section on top of my other parts because she likes the way the Paul Taylor style fits my body. Which is good news if I want to be in the company when I graduate. Which I would do just to be able to travel around the world and dance!
I slept almost all day today. it was glorious. back to school life tomorrow, but not before a fun evening of partying it up!

CRAZY!
my life is crazy. I have been going out every night. Well last night I accidently blacked out because I accidently drank a WHOLE lot of champagne at like 7:00. oops. Missed Shayla's Luau which SUCKS because I really wanted to go. But I passed out on Robert's couch with my luau attire on. When I woke up I thought we went, lol. Ah, me.
Ben is out of town this weekend which I HATE him for doing. We all went out Thursday night to Elements and Yianni's and it was fun. Until Ben decided he was going to walk home from Yianni's. He took off just as some older guy was telling me how rich he is and his faghag was like "you don't know what you're missing with him, blahblahblah" and STUPID James is all "Corey, come talk to this guy!". So I ran after Ben down the street because (a) I'm retarted and (b) wanted to escape said old rich man.
Black party tonight at Brother's. I doubt I'll go since I'm broke. And I don't really wear black.
I read Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger and it was so good. It made we want so many things... money, fame, love, a vacation to Turkey.
As much fun as i'm having with all of my friends I can't help feel kind of lonely. It's been a really long time since I've had any sort of meaningful romantic relationship with anybody. I'm ready for it to happen, people. Anyone? lol
I'm taking a nap, and then going to see Borat.
